Yellow Diamond Versace for women

Versace started its glamorous fragrance line inspired by crystals in 2004 with Crystal Noir perfume, and then launched the lighter and fruitier Bright Crystal in 2006. In 2011, a new fragrance of the collection emerged, "a crystal that turns into a diamond," named Yellow Diamond.
Yellow Diamond is crafted as a pure, transparent and airy floral fragrance, sparkling and intense as the yellow color, while being luxurious and feminine like a diamond. Its composition opens with luminous freshness of lemon, bergamot, neroli and pear sorbet. The heart features airy orange blossom, freesia, mimosa and water lily. The base is made of amber, precious musk and guaiac wood.
The bottle is shaped like the previous editions of the collection, colored in yellow, while its box is decorated with baroque ornaments. The face of the campaign is an Australian model Abbey Lee Kershaw, shot by Mario Testino in Paris.
Versace Yellow Diamond is available as 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette, with deodorant and body lotion.

Main Accords: citrus, yellow floral, floral, sweet and fresh.

Personal review: A lovely citrus-sweet fragrance for spring/summer. Very classy and fun. Reminds me a great deal of Marc Jacobs Daisy eau So Fresh, but this is more citrus where eau So Fresh is more sweet.
I smell mostly soft, kind citruses, not that much flowers. This is in no way bitter, it's very sweet and great for all ages from young teen to fun-loving adults. It's not very serious.

Too bad it has very bad lasting power, only a couple of hours. I fully expected that since it's such a summery splash, but I'm still disappointed. Sillage is from soft to medium.

I would use this when going to the town in the summer. Nice for meeting friends, visiting the library etc, Won't offend anyone and lifts your spirits!
