La Nuit de l`Homme Yves Saint Laurent for men

Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de l`Homme is a new masculine representative of the house of YSL and it will appear on the market in March 2009. The perfume is announced as one full of contrasts and tensions.

Its flacon is dark and powerful, as if it were announcing powerful ingredients it carries in itself. A veil of mystery and an explosive spicy accord reveal cardamom with sparkling freshness of bergamot, lavender and cedar, which stand for strength of men. Cumin and vetiver in a base ensure a sensual finish and an opulent, elegant closure.

Perfume La Nuit de l`Homme is available in three sizes of bottle - 40ml edt, 60ml edt and100ml edt, along with perfumed deo spray in a collection. The noses behind this fragrance are Anne Flipo, Pierre Wargnye and Dominique Ropion.

Personal Review: LNDLH is an excellent fragrance that is built around the structure of the original L'homme. In this case cardamom replaces ginger, lavender replaces violet leaf, and coumarin instead of tonka bean. These substitutions allow sweeter spice notes and a deeper floral presence. Cedar and vetiver are present in both for the needed spash of masculinity and element of cleanness. On my skin this has excellent sillage and lasts 10-12 hrs consistently and is easily detected, even by me. One spray to each side of my neck is all that is needed. What I enjoy about both is after they die down to skin scents, when you heat up just a little, the smell they project is beautiful. I do prefer the original L'homme to this because of its versatility. The former fragrance can be worn in any weather except for very hot days. This fragrance is for cooler days/nights IMHO and is more outright sexy than L'homme. I would say where L'homme is an attractive female that as you get to know her more she becomes extremely beautiful, LNDLH is that "I'm sexy and I know it" female that attracts you instantly. With either fragrance, you can't go wrong.
