A*Men Pure Havane Thierry Mugler for men

A*Men Pure Havane Thierry Mugler for men

After two limited edition versions of the original A * Men fragrance, A * Men Pure Coffee from 2008 and A * Men Pure Malt from 2009, Thierry Mugler presented the new edition A * Men Pure Havana in May 2011. A * Men Pure Havana is a gourmand interpretation of the tobacco scent and the finest Cuban cigars signed by perfumerJacques Huclier.
The composition opens with fresh tobacco leaves and honey, followed by notes of patchouli, vanilla and bitter cocoa. The base is warm and oriental with notes with labdanum, amber and styrax.
It is available as 50 and 100 ml EDT.

Main Accords: sweet, honey, tobacco, vanilla, cacao.

Personal review: In my humble opinion, This fragrance is the Magnum Opus of the Pure A*Men Line. The main competitor here is Pure Malt: I purchased a decant of Pure Malt and fell in love with the top notes; however, when it dries down it becomes a dull, strange scent. This one is the opposite: I first sprayed it and hated the strong tobacco. I feel like that note makes this for a more mature audience, and being a college kid, I felt this was not for me. Months later I tried it again and didn't scrub it off. I absolutely love the sweet cherry vanilla drydown!! It is perhaps the most scrumptious scent I have ever smelled. It isn't a sickly sweet like 1 Million and is not a mainstream fragrance worn by many. This, to me, is the perfect combination: I can wear this one and be unique, scrumptious, and 100% satisfied with my purchase.
