One of the most successful fragrances from Calvin Klein is CK One, the citrus unisex fragrance from 1994. CK One Shock is a surprise for all the fans of CK One line. It is not an unisex edition, but two separate oriental compositions: CK One Shock For Her and CK One Shock For Him.
CK One Shock For Him is built around aromatic, spicy and deep oriental nuances. It opens with citrusy clementine, fresh cucumber and energy drink accord. The heart of black pepper, black basil and cardamom is placed on the base of masculine tobacco, musk, patchouli and ambrene wood.
Available as 50 and 100 ml EDT, shower gel, deodorant and after shave lotion. CK One Shock For Him was launched in 2011. CK One Shock For Him was created by Ann Gottlieb and IFF
Main Accords: .Tobacco, fresh spicy, sweet, warm spicy, aromatic, amber..
Personal review: Shock has a spicy, sweet, tobacco blend to it. The pepper lingers in my nose as I pull away from this cologne. I can see the appeal it has on people. It's strong on paper and feels unisex, as a bold woman could easily pull this off as well.
CK One Shock is a bit different than the rest of Calvin's line. The scent itself is great, with a bit of sweetness on the top and a nice spiced tobacco that runs its way through the rest of the notes. It is miles away from the original CK One. I honestly can't tell any similarities between the two. The packaging and bottle also do not hint to what the juice actually smells like. This is what catches most people off-guard.
If CK would release this with a more tasteful bottle and name, it would sell loads more. Very under-rated and very cheap as it is now.
Longevity and sillage are both average. Great for fall/winter, any time or occasion.
